Elevate your drinking water from “filtered” to “functional.” Our Bluewello pH Booster is a premium liquid concentrate designed specifically for treated RO water, restoring the natural balance and vitality lost during the purification process.
This is a premium liquid additive designed for treated RO water. It combines the alkalinity-adjusting power of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) with essential Mineral Salts, all stabilized in DM Water. It is specifically used to transform “flat” and slightly acidic RO water into healthy, alkaline, and mineral-rich drinking water.
Alkaline Water Benefits: Raises the pH to the 7.5 – 8.5 range, creating “Alkaline Water” which is highly in demand for its health benefits.
Taste Improvement: Pure RO water can taste bitter; the mineral powder in this blend “rounds out” the flavor, making the water taste natural and sweet.
Stability: The minerals act as a “buffer,” meaning the pH won’t drop back down easily once the water is bottled.
Ready-to-Dose: Because the powder is already dissolved in DM water with NaOH, it won’t settle in your dosing tank, ensuring every bottle of water has the same mineral content.
Corrosion Control: Neutralizes the “hungry” nature of RO water, preventing it from leaching chemicals from plastic bottles or pipes.
TDS Increase: Since it contains mineral powder, it will increase your final TDS. You must balance the pump speed so the TDS doesn’t exceed the legal limit (BIS/FSSAI).
Cloudiness Risk: If the concentration is too high or the mineral powder is not fully stabilized, the water might look slightly cloudy (milky) for a few seconds.
Caustic Nature: Because it contains NaOH, the concentrate is dangerous. It can cause skin and eye irritation.
Scaling in Pipes: If the pH is boosted too high (above 9.0), it can cause slight mineral scaling inside the product water pipelines or the filling machine nozzles.
This chemical must be dosed after the RO membrane.
Dosing Point: Inject it into the RO Permeate (Product) Line before the water enters the final storage tank or the filling machine.
Dilution: Depending on your pump capacity, you can use it directly or dilute it further with RO water in a dosing tank.
Adjustment: Monitor the pH of the final water using a digital pH meter. Adjust the Dosing Pump until you achieve your target pH (usually 7.5 to 8.2 for standard drinking water). Check the TDS to ensure it stays within the desired range (usually adding 20–40 ppm to the base TDS).
Mixing: Ensure there is a static mixer or enough pipe length after the injection point for the chemical to mix completely.
Treatment dosage will vary with feed water quality and boiler water concentration limits. Generally a dosage of 25- 30 ppm on continuous basis is recommended for normal operating conditions.
Keep the container tightly closed away from direct heat & sunlight. Avoid contact with skin & eyes. If it comes in contact with skin or eyes flush with plenty of clean & cold water. If necessary, seek medical attention. Wear protective clothing safety goggles, hand gloves, shoes while handling the chemical.
